On August 6, 2017, "China Sports Lottery Cup" and "Huixiang Cup" Shandong Triathlon Championships were held in Boshan Wuyang Lake Ecotourism Holiday Resort. Shandong Huixiang Fitness Equipment Co., Ltd. sponsored the entire event.
Triathlon combines three distinct sports - swimming, cycling and running. Triathlon is an existing Olympic event (1.5km swimming, 40km cycling and 10km running). The competition is half-way 25.75 km, 0.75 km swimming, 20 km bike, running 5 km, half the mileage of the Olympic Games. After a fierce competition, Wang Zifan from Zibo team won the men's first triathlon.
